This baccalaureate degree is designed with an upper-division core program and concentrations that will prepare students to be competitive in both the private and public sectors.
Learning outcomes for Business Administration graduates:
- Demonstrate knowledge of concepts, principles, standards and processes that are essential to the development and management of business.
- Demonstrate ability to analyze situations, identify opportunities, develop strategies, and solve problems to achieve management goals and optimize organizational effectiveness and performance.
- Demonstrate ability to use accounting and financial information and tools to assist in management planning, controlling, and decision-making.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the legal and ethical responsibilities of individuals and organizations to minimize their negative impact and maximize their positive impact on their stakeholders and society in general.
- Demonstrate proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills necessary in promoting inclusiveness and engaging diverse people in today’s dynamic and globally interdependent business environment.

General University Course Requirements
The following courses are required for all bachelor level degrees: 36-39 credits Fine Arts: 3 credits
Any studio-based fine arts course (ART, MUS, DRMA), or ENG 206A , or ENG 206B Laboratory Science: 4 credits
Any laboratory science course except CHEM 105 Social Sciences: 3 credits
Any social science course (ECON, POSC, SOC, PSY) Mathematics: 3-5 credits
Any college-level MATH course or SOC 220 World Language: 3-4 credits
Any world language course Lower-division Core: 25 credits
Upper-division Core: 36 credits
Areas of Concentration: 12 credits
Select 4 courses (12 credits) from the concentrations below. Administration - Entrepreneurship
Individualized Program
Students select 12 free elective credits and provide rationale for selection. Free Electives (as needed)
Minimum total credits 120, including 48 upper-division credits
Course Guide for Business Administration
