CRMJ 321 - Geographic Information Systems

This course presents the principles and application of geographic information system (GIS) for students in a wide range of disciplines. Students will investigate the two primary GIS data models and databases used in preparing maps to address geographic questions. Lab activities will provide studnets with hands-on contact with GIS software products used in the analysis of geographic data, and the use web GIS platforms in data visualization and communication.  Cross-listed as ENSC 321 .
