ASTR 313 - Observational Astronomy3 credits Primarily for Science majors. A lecture and Laboratory course that deals with different types of basic observational techniques in astronomy. The laboratory section generally meets at night unless studying the sun. Students use observational facilities at the Moore Observatory and the newly renovated former Rattlesnake Mt. Observatory. Additional work out side posted laboratory hours may be required to take advantage of clear skies. Co-requisite(s): ASTR 313L .
