This baccalaureate degree is designed to develop breadth and depth, with an emphasis on chemistry that prepares students for graduate studies or research careers in industry. Students with this major may pursue careers in chemistry, health sciences, industry, and other related areas.

11 credits max may be used to satisfy the GUCRs and the major.
Upper-Division Core: 43 credits
General Electives: 21-22 credits
16-17 credits any college level course 101 and above; 5 credits must be upper-division.
