POSC 313 - Constitutional Law3 credits When persons are in conflict with each other, their government and its relationship, or the law, they can go to the federal courts. The U.S. Supreme Court is the last step in deciding what laws mean and what laws are permitted by the U.S. Constitution. In this course, students learn the fundamentals of legal research, the interpretation of laws, and the application of constitutional principles through the rigorous study of Supreme Court cases.
