This baccalaureate degree is designed to prepare students to teach chemistry at the secondary level.
Minimum of 120 credits required, including 48 upper-division credits.
|
Lower Division Core: 39 credits
11 credits (max) may be used to satisfy the GUCRs and the major.
Upper Division Science Core: 12 credits
Upper Division Education/Science Education Methods Core: 37 credits
Students must pass the specifically required NES exam before any endorsement will be recommended.
General Electives: 2-3 credits
2-3 credits any college-level course 101 and above.
