Principal (SPED DIRECTOR)
Principal Certificate for Special Education Directors (Differentiated Pathway) : 22 credits
Responding to a critical need in our region, the Heritage University Educational Administration Program is creating a differentiated pathway to meet the needs of regional Special Education Directors, particularly those in smaller, rural districts that require the ability to evaluate certificated Special Education teachers.
Candidates must have a master’s degree and possess a special education endorsement. The program is an accelerated, one-year Residency Principal Certificate pathway. Ideally the candidate will be in or will be accepting a Special Ed Director position. Similar to our Accelerated pathway for Principal Certification, candidates must have the full support of their superintendents in order to be accepted.
