ART 499W - Art Capstone3 credits Students will learn how to develop a body of work using a preferred single media, or across visual disciplines with which they already have demonstrated proficiency. They will demonstrate an understanding of their work in the context of art history and contemporary practice and will refine their professional arts writing samples. Peer engagement is also a critical component to this course. The course culminates in a group student exhibit in the Virginia Hislop Gallery and a spoken thesis presentation on campus. Offered Spring semester.
