The environmental science degree emphasizes chemistry, biology, and geology necessary to prepare students for complex environmental issues in remediation, control, and planning. This degree prepares students for a variety of positions in industry and government, as well as graduate studies in environmental science.

1. General University Course Requirements: 43-50

2. Lower-division Core Requirements: 53 credits

Note:

(11 credits may be used to satisfy the GUCRs and the major)

3. Upper-division Core: 49-58 credits

Minimum of 126 credits required, including 48 upper-division credits.
