This baccalaureate degree program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the information technology industry. Students planning to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Computer Science must complete the following courses:

2. Lower-division Core: 27 -28 credits
Note:
(15 - 17 credits may be applied to both the GUCRs and the major) 3. Upper-division Core: 42-45 credits
4. Additional Programming Experience: 6 credits
Select any two course from the following: 5. Elective & Upper-division Electives (as needed): 6 - 13 credits
Minimum total credits 120, including 48 upper-division credits
Optional Business Minor for Applied Computer Science Students: 19 credits
In conjunction with the business program, applied computer science students can earn an optional minor in Business Administration by completing the following sequence of coursework: Course Guide for Applied Computer Science
All students are expected to meet regularly with their assigned advisor regarding their course of study and progress toward degree/program completion. |
