MATH 099 - Preparation for Statistics3 Credits Students cover content that is specifically chosen to prepare them for success in an introductory statistics course. Topics include operations with signed numbers, order of operations, percents, ratios, rates, algebraic expressions, linear equations, the coordinate plane, descriptive statistics, counting principles and discrete probability. Concurrent enrollment in is required. Offered Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisite(s): C- or better in or appropriate score on placement exam.
