ECE 322W - Emtn, Social Devlp/Learn Thry3 credits
This course studies the theoretical positions and issues/research as it relates to the young child (birth to %). It introduces the multiple functions of play and how to engage young children in other enriching activities. It includes review of current research, observation of children, exploration of various social skills curriculums, and practical application in an early childhood setting. Field experience required.
