PSY 563 - Community Psychology

3 credits
Students will learn about psychological solutions to community-based social, mental health, and environmental problems and the interactions between one’s community and their mental health. Particular focus on understanding the roles of power and oppression in community mental health, learning about community resources, social change, and community empowerment. Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in MMHC program
