PSY 577 - Addictions3 credits This course takes a biopsychosocial approach to examining the etiology, prevalence, and treatment models of/for common addictive behaviors, including substances, gambling, and others. The influence of factors such as race, gender, social class, and disability will be considered, as will societal factors which interact with those personal factors.
