PSY 375 - Research Methods I3 This course provides an overview of the techniques and methods used to study psychological phenomena,
spanning correlational, quasi-experimental, and experimental methods. Topics include the logic of hypothesis
testing, experimental design, evaluation of research papers in psychology, scientific writing, and ethical issues in
psychological research. Prerequisite(s): MATH 221; SOC 220; or PSY 342
