ENSC 317W - Pacific Northwest Chicana/o and Latino History3 credits This course investigates the historical evolution and development of the Pacific Northwest Chicana/o and Latino population. Major themes include: class/cultural conflicts, community settlements, agricultural production, labor production, environmental issues, environmental racism, migration, immigration public policies, education, social movements, electoral politics, poverty, urbanization, ruralization, cultural production, and economical issues.
