MATH 322 - Probability & Statistics I2 credits An introductory course in probability and statistics, including basic axioms of probability; combinatorial probability; Bayes’ theorem; discrete and continuous random variables; and probability distributions for the binomial, geometric, Poisson, exponential and normal random variables. Offered Fall semesters of odd-number years. Prerequisite(s): C or better in MATH 212 or permission of the instructor.
