ED 586S - Special Education Law and Finance

2 credits
The course will provide an understanding of special education finance in order to develop a program budget.  The course will also address current laws and changes related to special education program compliance.  It is a required part of the differentiated Principal Certification Program pathway for Special Education Administrators/Directors.  Candidates will learn how funding for special education is determined in Washington and the core legal concepts for special education.
