SOC 305 - Culture Diversity and Social Justice

3 credits
The purpose of this course is to have students explore cultural diversity and social justice. The course will provide the conceptual, theoretical, and empirical knowledge base related to difference, oppression, social justice, and empowerment of culturally diverse populations at risk. This foundation knowledge is necessary for social work practice in a multicultural society. Offered Spring semester. Cross-listed as SOWK 306 .
