BADM 384 - Developing Managerial Skills3 credits
This course is a management skills practice with emphasis on concepts and their behavior as applied to the workplace. Emphasis on general personal and inter-personal skills, self awareness, managing personal stress, problem solving, supportive communications, gaining power and influence, motivation, delegation and decision making, management conflict in group meetings. Responsibilities as a supervising manager including delegation of responsibilities will also be included. Case studies are a significant part of the course. Prerequisite(s): BADM 341W .
